Koonunga Hill Cabernet Merlot is a multi-district blend drawing fruit from several vineyards in South Australia including McLaren Vale, Barossa Valley, Padthaway, Langhorne Creek and Coonawarra.

It is a full flavored but fruit driven wine, in contrast to the maturation style of the Shiraz Cabernet (which was first released in 1976).
